ILLU 206 Illustration: Drawing to Print This course integrates the fields of illustration and printmaking, with emphasis on technique, playfulness, and personal expression. Students will create drawings through a series of text and image exercises that will result in a finished print design. Basic techniques of linoleum relief carving and printing will be taught, and an edition of original prints will be produced by hand. With focus on traditional media and experimentation, the course will encourage exploration of personal vision within the field of illustration.
